MacBook Pro vs MacBook Air comparison

The MacBook pro and Macbook Air laptops are portable and delivers high performance. But they are in different according to several perspectives. There are many minute differences but they have significance. Both have stunning looks and they are different in terms of weights. 11 inch Mac pro weighs 490 kg lighter than the Macbook Air pro which is 1.08kg. The Macbook Pro is slimmer in shape just with the millimeter difference. The Macbook Air is an ultraportable laptop with the beautiful body and thickness of 18mm. It is rigid, tough enough and finished with the sand-slated aluminum. The sides of the keyboard in Macbook Pro is reduced which helps in typing and provide comfort. Macbook Air has metal body and different look from other brands styled with the wedged taper from rear to the front edge. Despite the fact that Apple assembles their all premium products at the premium price unlike the Microsoft matching the features at the same or different price. Macbook Air has an extra pinhole on the left acting as a microphone.
It helps in cancelling the noise and improves the clarity of the voice during the calls from the Skype. The Macbook Pro benefits with the 2800 X 1800 pixel with the IPS display and configured with the HiPI mode. These both are also different in terms of resolution. Macbook Air is configured with the upgrading of RAM and space for the storage less than $150 compared with the MacBook Pro.



Most of the people have recommended using Mac Pro due to its attractive features like 13-inch screen along with the 2.8 GHz processor core i7, 8 GB memory and 512 GB flash memory. Although they have are i7 processors but have different CPUs belonging to the different generation of the processors of the Intel. So the difference is also seen from the performance perspective. Along with the specifications, there is also difference in the price as well. Macbook Pro of 13-inch was launched in the year 2012 and starting price was 1449 pounds. But after the processor up gradation, the price was reduced to the 1249 pounds.  In  April 2014, Macbook Air was launched whose price started from the 749 pounds which 100 pounds less than the model launched in 2013. 

The starting price of the Macbook Air is 849 pounds which was actually 250 pounds less than the Retina display model. The difference was clearly visible and the difference was of the 250 pounds from which you can buy a separate screen not the Retina display. Then the screen would be even greater than the 13 inches. The main difference between them is the fast processor of 2.4 GHZ and Intel Iris graphics are used instead of Intel graphics. The battery time of macbook pro is 12hrs and the battery time of Macbook Pro is 9 hrs. Buying Macbook Air is considered as the cheapest option and is worthy to buy due to the more power and the features. Macbook Air turbo boost up to 2.7 GHz and Macbook pro turbo boost up to 2.9 GHz.
