Apple Hires Senior Tag Hewer executive as iWatch Nears

In a move when the iWatch is inevitable and is expected to hit the markets soon, it has come to the picture that Apple has poached one of the senior executive from the high –end Swiss watchmaker mentioned as Tag Heuer. It has also been observed that vice president of sales named as Patrick Pruniaux will be moving ahead for joining in Apple, even though the overall information with respect to his appointment and roles or titles are not at all revealed yet.  It is believed that he would be presumably be offered the role of strong industry sales experience for helping market of Apple with regards to the iWatch. It is believed that Apple hires senior Tag Heuer executives as iWatch nears.

According to Reuters, it has been mentioned that it was Tag Heuer which highlighted to the public and has become bit salty with respect to the action performed by Patrick’s of leaving, even though someone else has occupied his position. One of the spoke’s person has told that it has been the case of head –hunting over here. Tag Heuer, which is one of the leading brands of the Luxury goods groups mentioned as LVMH, informed that one of their Vice presidents who was with them for 7 long years is leaving them and joining the opponent which is another leading brand company mentioned as Apple. Whereas it has come to the notice that Apple has taking their prerogative that they want be commenting.

The iWatch is going to be one of the closest to the US Company which has come into the fashion of accessories and is making their first foray into the luxury goods for the personal care and attention. It is entering into the race against Google and Samsung electronics which are turning into wearable fashion industry and must-have items like Smartphone’s, which is increasingly changing or being customized and is losing their appeal.

According to different reports and information it has been brought that in past 2 or 3 months, Apple has plucked lots of executives from leading brands and sector of luxury. Burberry ex-chief executive Angela Arendt’s  got started with the new head for the retail and the online sales in the month of May, and the former head of French Fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent Paul Deneve got also hired last year for working on some of the special projects.

 According to the industry executives and analysts there is some specific jury which is still under the hunt to find out whether the smart watches are going to disrupt the luxury of the Swiss watch Industry to any extent. According to one of the analyst named Jon Cox, who is analyst at one of the leading brand named Kepler cheuvreux in Zurich, revealed that may be iWatch is not going to be a threat to the luxury Swiss Watches. There is speculation that there could be chances of Apple to launch an iWatch which would be including different fitness and health sensors and would be accessing to the features like notifications and messages through integration with iPad and iPhone.
